Remuneration: £28,000 - £35,000

The role of the Hire Desk Controller - Non-Mechanical Plant & Equipment will involve:

• Hire desk controller position dealing with the hire and sale of non-mechanical plant & equipment such as: temporary access, ground protection, specialist construction products, trench covers, ground reinforcement & stabilization, site security & traffic management
• All of your time will be speaking to civil engineering companies, main contractors, sub-contractors, events managers, end-users and distributors for example: Sunbelt, HSS Hire, Marwood and Glastonbury
• Deal with incoming enquiries via telephone & emails
• Raise jobs orders, job breakdowns & delivery orders
• Liaise internally to organise dispatch drivers and check order enquiries
• Ensure all relevant documents are accurately prepared and procedures adhered too

The ideal applicant will be Hire Desk Controller - Non-Mechanical Plant & Equipment with:

• Must have experience within a hire position dealing with non-mechanical hire
• Familiar with a range of non-mechanical products such as: temporary access, temporary access, ground protection, fences, barriers, stairs, skips, specialist construction products, trench covers, ground reinforcement & stabilization, site security & traffic management
• Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and determined
• Looking for a long term career opportunity
• Driving licence
• IT Literate (Office, CRM systems)
