The Role

As a History Graduate, you may work as a:

Teaching Assistant
Humanities Learning Support Assistant
Academic Mentor
SEND Teaching Assistant
Inclusion Support Assistant
Learning Mentor
Intervention Support Assistant
You'll gain invaluable experience by:

Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
Assisting pupils across Humanities subjects and the wider curriculum.
Helping students develop critical thinking, research and communication skills.
Supporting learners with SEND, Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH needs.
Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning and achievement.
Building confidence, resilience and independence in young people.
Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.
Creating positive relationships that help students succeed both academically and personally.

We're Looking For

A degree in History or a related Humanities subject.
A genuine passion for supporting young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
A patient, adaptable and resilient approach.
The ability to build positive professional relationships.
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
