I am looking for a qualified History Teacher to support a secondary school in Batharea, delivering high quality History education across relevant year groups. You will be joining a school that values the importance of a strong curriculum, where History is taught with enthusiasm and academic depth. Teachers are expected to plan engaging lessons that develop critical thinking, encourage students to question and independent learning. A passion for the subject and strong behavioural management is essential..

Responsibilities :

• Planning and preparing lessons and activities.

• Teaching in accordance with national curriculum and school standards.

• Setting and marking work carried out by students.

• Assessing and reporting on the development and progress of students.

• Work collaboratively with the History department and wider staff.

Requirements :

• QTS

• Passion for the subject

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience working in secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
