History Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Ellesmere Port to recruit a committed and knowledgeable History Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate historian to inspire students and bring the past to life through engaging lessons.

This role is a temporary 4 month contract that is covering a long term absence. The position is full time working from 8:30am to 3:30pm with the occasional meeting. This local school has a great reputation amongst the local community, the team are supportive with a pro-active leadership team.

The Role:

Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress
Encouraging critical thinking, debate, and historical enquiry
Maintaining strong classroom management and positive relationships
Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriateTo be considered for this role, we will need -
