History Teacher - Tendring - Full Time

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Tendring is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full-time agency role within a supportive school environment with excellent leadership and motivated students.

The Role:

Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
Developing students' understanding of key historical periods, themes, and skills
Monitoring and assessing student progress effectively
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with departmental staff and the wider school team

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
