History Teacher – Full-time, permanent role, starting September 2026

Teach History full-time across relevant secondary year groups
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop analytical thinking and historical understanding
Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs and abilities
Maintain consistent behaviour expectations and a positive classroom climate
Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
Support pupils in developing strong essay-writing, source analysis, and contextual knowledge
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfareIdeal History Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong History teaching experience
Confident in delivering History at KS3 and KS4
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Able to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
Reflective, proactive, and committed to high-quality teaching
