About the Role

An Outstanding boys school in Brent is looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to join their humanities department from September. You will deliver engaging history lessons to Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons, covering various historical periods and events.


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.


• Develop students' understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead history-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.


• Proven experience teaching history at secondary level, including A-Level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
