A large and ambitious secondary academy in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026. The Role in More Detail
You will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, designing lessons that help students explore significant events, figures and themes in local, national and global history. You will develop students’ analytical, evaluative and writing skills, preparing them for success in examinations and beyond.
You’ll contribute to departmental planning, resource development and enrichment activities such as trips, history clubs and themed projects. As you progress through your ECT years, you’ll be supported to take on increasing responsibility and leadership opportunities within a collaborative, supportive environment.
