History Teacher - Full-time, Boys' School, Hammersmith - April 2025

A respected Boys' School in Hammersmith seeks a dynamic History Teacher for a one-year fixed-term contract. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore the past and develop critical thinking skills.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of historical periods and themes.


• Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that promote historical analysis and debate.


• Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and historical projects.


• Contribute to departmental meetings and extracurricular history clubs.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History.


• Strong knowledge of historical methodologies and diverse historical periods.


• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.


• A passion for engaging boys in historical inquiry.
