About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.


• Develop and implement lesson plans covering a wide range of historical periods and themes.


• Facilitate student-led debates, presentations, and research projects.


• Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the history curriculum.


• Organise and lead extracurricular activities, such as history clubs and museum visits.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in History.


• Extensive experience teaching history at the secondary level.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.


• A passion for fostering a love of history and developing critical thinking skills.
