An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Leeds (ages 11–18) is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher (ECT) to join their well-established Humanities Department.

The Role

As a History ECT, you will:
• Teach engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage students to develop analytical and evaluative skills.
• Contribute to department planning and curriculum development.
• Participate in enrichment activities such as history clubs and trips.
• Receive structured mentoring throughout the ECT programme.

Requirements

• PGCE or equivalent with QTS.
• Strong knowledge of History.
• Passion for inspiring students to explore the past.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
