Our client, a reputable mainstream secondary school in the heart of Oxford, is seeking a dynamic and passionate History Teacher to join their esteemed faculty on a full-time, permanent basis from September.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to teach Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a real impact on students' lives, inspiring a love of history and fostering critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5


• Design and implement innovative lesson plans in line with the national curriculum


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the History department's effectiveness


• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in History or a related field


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification


• Demonstrated experience teaching History at the secondary level


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history
