Key Responsibilities:

HIU Installation and Maintenance:

Perform a variety of tasks including servicing, breakdowns, upgrades, installations, and commissioning.
General HVAC Work:

Engage in plumbing and heating work, ensuring systems are operating at peak performance.
Compliance and Safety:

Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and ensure accurate documentation of all visits.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for operational and maintenance work on over 40 DHN sites (and growing), dealing with a wide range of technologies including HIUs, Heat Pumps, and AMR Metering. Your role is crucial in maintaining and improving the operational performance of our District Heating Network and communal heating schemes.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications and Experience:

NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in general plumbing, heating, and mechanical. Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous.
Driving License:

A valid UK driving license is essential.
Specialized Skills:

Experience with domestic gas boilers and relevant gas safety registration is an advantage, as is experience with HIUs and DHNs.
Innovative Thinker:

Ability to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
Safety and Compliance:

Competent in understanding risk assessments, procedures, and processes.
IT Proficiency:

Comfortable using computers and related software.
Excellent Communicator:

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
