Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Camden, London

Full-Time | 8:30am - 4:30pm | Until July 2027

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a welcoming primary school in Camden to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time position until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and committed HLTA who enjoys supporting pupils' learning, raising achievement and helping create a positive, engaging classroom environment.

The Role:

Supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range.
Delivering pre-planned lessons and leading classes in the teacher's absence.
Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups to help pupils make progress.
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and adapting activities where necessary.
Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team to maintain high standards of learning and behaviour.
Helping to create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.The Ideal Candidate:

Holds HLTA status or has substantial experience in a similar role.
Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Is confident leading whole-class learning and managing classroom behaviour.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Is proactive, reliable and passionate about supporting children's development.Position Details:

Location: Camden, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Full-time until July 2027
