Job Description - HLTA

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: September 2024

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive primary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team in Kettering on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Covering lessons in the primary school classroom environment
Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
Leading small group interventions and providing targeted support to students
Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and materialsRequirements:

HLTA qualification (Level 4 TA) or substantial experience as an HLTA in a primary school setting
Proven ability to cover lessons and manage a classroom effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student achievement
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the school communityWhat We Offer:
