Aspire People are looking for an experienced HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to support pupils across Monmouth.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step, or an existing HLTA looking for a new opportunity.

The Role

- Support pupils across a range of learning needs
- Deliver planned learning activities and interventions
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Work alongside teaching staff to support pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils
- Provide cover for lessons where required

Requirements

- HLTA qualification or relevant experience
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting ALN/SEN pupils desirable
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- EWC registration or willingness to register
- Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
