Are you a passionate, adaptable and inspiring HLTA looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across a primary school?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover contract from January 2027 until the end of the academic year.

This varied and rewarding role will include:

Delivering high-quality PPA cover across Reception to Year 5
Leading engaging and creative Forest School sessions multiple days each week
Supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups
Inspiring children to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learningWhat we're looking for:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
Experience working across different primary age groups (desirable)
Forest School qualification and experience (highly desirable)
A flexible, proactive and nurturing approach to supporting childrenWe offer a welcoming school community, supportive staff team and the opportunity to play a key role in both classroom learning and outdoor education.
