Activity Leader – Holiday Club

Location: Crewe (CW2 6RU)

Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, School Holidays, up to 50 hours per week (8.00am - 6.00pm)

The Role:

As one of our Activity Leaders, you’ll deliver fun & engaging care creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can learn through play.

You’ll support children’s social development, encourage positive behaviour and help create memorable experiences every day.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

· Lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, play and physical activity.

· Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

· Support children with social interactions and encourage positive behaviour.

· Set up and tidy activity areas and equipment before and after sessions.

· Maintain accurate registers, report concerns and follow safeguarding procedures.

· Work collaboratively with school staff and the wider LSC team.

· Support the planning and delivery of themed sessions when required.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a passion for supporting children’s development.

Essential

• Previous experience working with children in a club, school, or childcare setting

• Access to a car or the ability to travel to the location

• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one

Desirable

• Food Hygiene awareness for snack preparation
