Role overview
Home Care is a €12b business, consistently growing and innovating at increasing pace. Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) continues to represent over €1.2b annual spend, underpinning agility and cost competitiveness. The CM network is central to delivering margin growth, portfolio transformation, innovation, strategic capacity expansion and sustainability commitments. As a result, a clear strategy and governance process is pivotal to ensure we operate the most cost effective and agile CM network possible.

This role will be primarily responsible for developing and continually evolving the CM strategy and being the single point of contact for the BG and BU both inside and outside of Supply Chain. Alongside the strategy ownership, this role also is responsible for the development and delivery of the CM F4G savings agenda, a key pillar within the Home Care 5S savings programme.

Responsibility
• Own the Home Care CM strategy. Continually evolve to ensure it reflects the needs of the business and the global operational environment
• Own the delivery of the CM F4G savings as part of the 5S programme across all BUs:
• Own the CM F4G updates in the monthly 5S Steercom and making sure agreed actions are delivered
• Engage with BU CM leadership frequently to update the savings pipeline and build further savings into the funnel
• Share learnings cross BU to inspire and build the strongest saving pipeline globally
• Lead the CM F4G pillar in the annual 5S workshop:
• Prepare the full agenda and pre-work to facilitate a strong workshop
• Engage with all members pre-workshop to ensure all pre-work is assigned and completed
• Lead the sessions within the workshop acting as a facilitator to inspire cross BU sharing as well as directing the agenda to ensure all workshop goals are met
• Create the funnel for the following 2-3 years
• Lead CM BU monthly engagements to ensure close collaboration and maximise value creation:
• Review and update strategy as required
• Review savings projects offering support where needed to unlock constraints
• Constructively challenge ideas and co-develop further opportunities for savings
• Co-ordinate cross-functionally all CM activities where support is required including R&D, Procurement and Finance
• Responsible for creation of strategy updates, saving updates for reviews and senior leader presentations as and when required
• Be the first point of contact for cross BU sourcing from CMs. Lead for the SC in creating the new supply routes by engaging directly with the CM alongside procurement. Engage with the sourcing BU teams to ensure visibility and alignment whilst driving the project forward directly with the CM.

Skills
• Supply Chain strategic and tactical thinking
• 5S Savings and/or Technical / Factory background, at the level that allows to understand and challenge proposals
• Specific knowledge or experience within Home Care is a plus
• Experience in cross functional working with R&D, Procurement, and Finance teams
