Job Description - Home Insurance Advisor

Home Insurance Advisor
Longbenton, Newcastle
Hybrid working is available once the probation period has ended
Monday to Friday 9am–5pm (36 hours per week)
£27,200 - £28,000 DOE + bonus

Outsource UK is hiring! We're looking for experienced Home Insurance Advisor who are passionate about helping and supporting customers. Our client, one of the UK's largest and most reputable retail banks, is offering a permanent position for the right candidate.

To be considered for the role, previous experience in a home insurance role. But if you're looking for a place to grow, develop and learn in your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Duties of the Position:

Liaising with customers of the client delivering exceptional customer service
Gathering required information, ensuring accuracy when doing so
Managing a large number of existing claims and dealing with queries from customers, third parties, and suppliers to ensure the efficient progress of the claim
Liaising with third parties such as other insurance companies and solicitors etc

Requirements:

Articulate and professional with excellent communication, verbal and written
Prior experience in a claims handler position or customer service in a financial or insurance industry
Experience within a financial services or complaints environment
Experience working in fast-paced, target-driven environments
