Homeroom Teacher - Primary Year 5 "Immediate Hiring"

Egypt Education Platform is inviting applications for the position of Homeroom Teacher - Primary Year 4 to join our dynamic team at one of our schools "GEMS British International School in Madinaty ". We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture our Year 4 students, fostering their academic and social development while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

This job is based in Cairo, Egypt. We're looking to hire foreign educators with experience in teaching British curriculum internationally or in UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that adhere to the British Curriculum for Year 4 students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and promote individual growth.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and support to enhance their educational experience.
• Establish a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and engaging them in the educational process.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop a cohesive and integrated approach to student learning.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continue enhancing instructional practices.
• Support students' social and emotional development, fostering positive behavior and resilience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Holds a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or PGCE).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary setting, preferably within the British Curriculum.
• Strong understanding of child development and pedagogical best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in instructional practices.
