Horizontal Borer

Our client is currently recruiting for a Horizontal Borer to join their precision engineering team. The Horizontal Borer will have experience of interpreting drawings and manual horizontal boring experience.

This will be based onsite 39 hours a week with plenty of chance to work over time.

Key Responsibilities for the Horizontal Borer

Working to coordinates, boring holes with Wolhaupter Boring Heads, Milling, Drilling and Tapping
Manufacturing small 1 to 5 off batches, castings in cast iron or aluminium or welded fabricationKey Experience for the Horizontal Borer

Experience with Boring machines, preferably apprenticed trained with experience setting up workpieces for finish machining.
Good measurement skills using bore micrometres
Be able to interpret 2D drawingsPlease apply as directed
