Horticultural Services Assistant

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Horticultural Services Assistant to join their team on a short-term temporary assignment expected to last around four weeks.
This is a hands-on role supporting horticultural operations and would suit someone with previous experience working with plants who is looking for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

Disposal of plant waste
Cleaning and preparation of growing areas
Supporting plant care activities including staking, tying and re-potting
Assisting with general horticultural duties as required
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout growing environmentsCandidate Requirements:

Previous experience working with plants is essential
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Good attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
Strong communication skills
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable and flexible approach to workExperience within a customer-facing or research environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
