Host - Cast Rooftop Bar!

The Cast Rooftop Bar at Hotel Indigo Torquay is looking for a Host to join our growing team and bring the Hotel Indigo values to life!

Hotel Indigo Torquay brings a vibrant new addition to this idyllic coastal town. Nestled along the stunning English Riviera, the hotel offers guests breathtaking views of Tor Bay and easy access to some of Torquay’s most iconic beaches and walking trails, where nature can be truly appreciated. Close to local attractions, including the historic Torre Abbey and the lively harbour, guests can also indulge in the region's renowned culinary scene featuring fresh seafood and artisanal delights. Hotel Indigo provides a unique and memorable experience, offering a tonic for the body, imagination, and soul, while capturing the spirit of this historic English seaside destination.

We are looking for someone who can work Full-Time (40 hours per week).

As a Host (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties…

• Welcoming guests warmly and setting the tone for their rooftop bar experience (you will be the first friendly face our guests meet, creating a great first impression and making them feel relaxed, looked after and excited to enjoy The Cast Rooftop Bar) – we are looking for someone with experience in a guest-facing role within hospitality!
• Managing bookings, seating plans and guest flow throughout service (you will support the smooth running of the rooftop bar by greeting arrivals, coordinating tables and helping the team create a seamless experience for every guest) - it would be desirable to have confidence using booking systems and a calm, organised approach during busy periods!
• Working closely with the wider F&B team to deliver excellent guest experiences (you will communicate clearly with colleagues, share important guest information and help create a welcoming, polished and memorable atmosphere for everyone visiting the bar) – excellent communication and personable skills are essential for this role!
