Hot End / Cold End Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hot End / Cold End Operator to work on a permanent basis in St Helens.

Salary is c£40-48,000 per annum plus holidays, pension etc.

The role is initially working Monday - Friday days but will change into a 3 set shift pattern.

About the Hot End / Cold End Operator role:

This role would suit someone with previous hands-on experience working within glass manufacturing, ideally with exposure to the hot end, cold end, forming and/or packaging processes. You will have a good understanding of working within a fast-paced, highly controlled production environment where quality, safety and consistency are essential.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working to strict procedures and will understand the importance of maintaining high standards throughout the production process. Previous experience working within an environment operating to ISO standards and stringent quality requirements is essential.

About the Hot End / Cold End Operator:

Previous experience within a glass manufacturing environment

Experience working within hot end, cold end, forming, production and/or packaging operations

*

Hands-on experience within a fast-paced, tightly controlled manufacturing environment

*

A strong understanding of quality standards and the importance of product consistency

*

Experience working to strict procedures, production processes and ISO or similar quality standards

*

A good awareness of health and safety within an industrial manufacturing environment

*

The ability to work effectively as part of a production team

*

A reliable and practical approach, with good attention to detail

*

The ability to identify and report production, quality or equipment issues when they arise

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production operator with a background in the glass industry who is looking to bring their existing hot end, cold end, forming or packaging experience into a new role.
