About the Hotel ReceptionTeam Member role:

The Stanneylands Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a full-time

Hotel Reception Team Member

to join the Front of House team. As a

Hotel Reception Team Member

you will be the first face to greet our guests and give them a great impression of our amazing Hotel. Dealing with our guests on a daily basis and supporting the Management team, you’ll be an expert in communication and know how to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Meet and greet guests and visitors to the Hotel

Manage face to face, on line and telephone bookings

Check all reservations and room allocations

Handle guest queries and requirements

Check guests in and out of the Hotel

Prepare restaurant reservations

Maintain occupancy levels on the computer system

Manage the computer system including room rates and changes

Deal with customer requirements, complaints and service issues

Handle cash and card payments

Ensure a safe environment in which to work; report any hazard or maintenance defects immediately

Maintain a high standard of personal appearance
