HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER – CYCAS HOSPITALITY We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Manager in our dual branded IHG properties in Dundee, Scotland. Hotel Indigo and the Staybridge Suites, 187 rooms including 85 long stay suites in the 19th century converted linen mills with a salute to its industrial heritage in every area of the building. You will be joining these elite status hotels strengthening the already exceptional team of individuals dedicated to delivering excellent service and committed to remaining the best hotels in the city. ROLE OBJECTIVE Our room cleanliness scores are some of the best in the business. Our product is maintained to a very high standard. Our team is highly engaged, and standards focused. Your mission, to maintain these levels while inspiring us all to go further. You will have autonomy to look for better ways, streamline processes, and look after your people. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Accountable for room cleanliness standards including public areas. Effective management of suppliers and contracts relating to the department Striving to grow cleanliness satisfaction scores. Training and development of the Housekeeping Team to expected standards. Effective recruitment and manning costs controls Efficient assignment of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks To be fully conversant with all Housekeeping departmental procedures. Responsible for departmental Health & Safety including training and logs. Work closely with the Maintenance and Reception teams. Carry out Duty Management shifts as required. Drive team engagement and foster effective relationships. Discounted hospitality 50% discount on F&B in all our properties. REQUIRMENTS Previous experience in Housekeeping Management in a branded environment Experience with a front office management system. (PMS) Passionate and willingness to learn and have a positive attitude. Excellent customer service and team management skills Possess the ability to work under pressure and have good organisational skills.
