The role:
As a Sheltered Housing Advisor, you will be responsible for the day to day running of a selection of sheltered housing schemes (sheltered housing for older persons or those with a support need). You will ensure that our customers wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
What you take care of:
You will undertake weekly and monthly contact with all sheltered customers alongside monthly testing of all scheme and customer equipment.
Provide?signposting/referral services where necessary, both internally and externally.
Arrange?and managing scheme meetings and communal activities, including property viewings for new customers.
On occasion you will be required to travel to other Magna sites across Somerset to provide cover for other colleagues when necessary.
?Be responsible for managing all aspects of scheme management, compliance, and associated administration. Necessary IT equipment and a working from home allowance will be provided to support this. A full Job Profile is attached to this advert.
What you need to be successful:
Experience of working in supported housing, with older / vulnerable people or within a similar?environment.
Knowledge of safeguarding and equality and diversity.
To be customer focused, with a desire to exceed customer expectations and deliver high levels of customer service at all times, whilst adhering to regulations and Magna Values.
To be highly competent in maintaining accurate records with an excellent level of ICT skills. You must be capable in learning new systems quickly and with ease.
An ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, and experience of maintaining client confidentiality is essential.
A full?driving licence, with use of a vehicle with relevant business insurance.
