Role summary

This is a senior change role that will lead and coordinate a portfolio of strategic improvement projects, helping to reshape operating structures and deliver sustainable improvements across housing operations.

You will work closely with senior leadership, HR and corporate services, providing the programme management, governance and delivery oversight required to take complex organisational change from initial design and business case development through to implementation.

What you will do as a Housing Change & Improvement Lead

·Lead and coordinate a large-scale housing service redesign and organisational change programme.
·Develop and maintain programme and project plans, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones, timescales, quality and cost.
·Produce robust business cases, cases for change and supporting programme documentation.
·Map and manage dependencies and interdependencies across multiple projects and workstreams.
·Establish and manage effective programme governance, reporting and assurance processes.
·Track risks, decisions, actions and delivery issues through to resolution.
·Facilitate senior-level meetings, workshops and engagement sessions.
·Oversee implementation activity and provide assurance that the overall change programme remains on track.

What you will need as a Housing Change & Improvement Lead

·Significant experience leading complex change, transformation or organisational redesign programmes.
·Strong programme and project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex change at pace.
·Experience within local government would be highly advantageous, ideally within housing or a similarly complex public service environment.
·Demonstrable experience developing business cases, cases for change and high-quality programme documentation.
·Strong understanding of programme governance, risk management, dependencies and delivery assurance.
·Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and influence senior leaders.
