Housing Litigation Solicitor – Leading Regional Law Firm | North West (Hybrid Available)

Location: Manchester/Hybrid | PQE: 2+ Years | Full-time, Permanent

A respected, forward-thinking regional law firm is seeking an experienced Housing Litigation Solicitor to join its Tier 1 Legal 500-ranked Housing & Regeneration team.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of housing litigation matters, primarily social housing tenancy and leasehold disputes.

They will represent clients in County Court, Magistrates’ Court (civil) and the First-tier Tribunal, advising on issues such as antisocial behaviour (ASB), injunctions, possession claims and housing management. The role also involves providing strategic legal advice in both pre- and post-litigation contexts, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the department’s business development and compliance initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in social housing litigation
• Strong advocacy and case management skills
• Experience in court or tribunal representation preferred
• Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) is desirable but not essential
• Collaborative, self-motivated and commercially aware
