Description

Coordinate and manage property maintenance schedules and repairs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housing units.
Organise contractors and monitor their work to meet agreed standards.
Handle maintenance-related enquiries from tenants promptly and professionally.
Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and budgets.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
Assist in reporting and auditing maintenance operations as required.Profile

A successful Housing Maintenance Officer should have:

Perhaps an ex trades person - joiner, painter etc

Experience in property maintenance or housing management roles.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housing.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and contractors.
