An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Officer to join our client on a temporary assignment for three months.
£18.00 to £20.00 per hour depending on experience.
This is a varied, community focused role where you will manage a caseload of lower level Housing Management and Anti Social Behaviour cases. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help resolve tenancy and neighbourhood issues through early intervention while ensuring excellent customer service is delivered to residents.
The position requires regular travel to different locations, covering up to 75 miles per week. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
This will remain an office and community based role throughout the assignment. Initially, you will spend more time in the office while becoming familiar with the organisation’s systems and processes. Once established, there may be some flexibility to work from home, but community visits will remain an essential part of the position.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of lower level Housing Management and ASB cases.
* Investigate and resolve neighbour disputes and noise complaints.
* Deal with tenancy and neighbourhood management issues, including property condition enquiries, no access cases and environmental matters.
* Maintain accurate case records and update the relevant housing management systems.
* Liaise with residents, colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
* Deliver excellent customer service while managing your own workload effectively.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Housing Management Officer or ASB Officer.
* Experience managing your own caseload.
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
* Confidence managing difficult conversations and resolving disputes.
* Good IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Previous experience using a housing management system would be advantageous but is not essential Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
