Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 35 hours per week
Please note that this is a fully office based positionWe're looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy tenancy services team, managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality housing management services to residents.

This is a rewarding role where you'll balance tenancy support, enforcement, and safeguarding responsibilities while helping to create safer, stronger communities.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing a range of tenancy and housing management cases.
Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour (ASB) and tenancy breaches.
Supporting vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Conducting tenancy visits, estate inspections, and welfare checks.
Preparing case files, witness statements, and legal documentation.
Attending court hearings and representing the landlord in legal proceedings where required.
Working closely with legal teams, police, social services, and other agencies.
Handling complaints, disputes, and complex housing management issues.
Ensuring properties, estates, and tenancies are managed effectively and safely.

You Will Need

Previous experience in Housing Management, Tenancy Management, Neighbourhood Management, ASB, or a similar housing role.
Strong knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy enforcement, and anti-social behaviour processes.
Experience managing complex casework involving vulnerable residents.
Confidence preparing legal documentation and supporting court proceedings.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to make balanced decisions, combining support and enforcement where appropriate.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Housing qualification (CIH or equivalent) desirable, although substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
