Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available:

Position: Support / Housing Worker

Location: Greater Manchester

Rate: £27,000 per annum

Length: Permanent

Hours: 9am – 5pm (Weekdays only)

Work Pattern: On Site

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conduct initial qualifying assessments with parolees referred by the National Probation Service to determine eligibility and suitability for supported accommodation
• Provide support to residents with complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health, trauma, and offending history
• Develop and review individual support plans in collaboration with residents and Probation Practitioners.
• Support tenants to maintain tenancies, manage rent payments, and comply with occupancy agreements
• Facilitate move-ins and evictions where necessary in accordance with policy and legal frameworks

General Duties

• Work collaboratively other agencies, signposting where appropriate
• Act as a point of contact between the service, the National Probation Service, and community partners
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records using internal systems
• Respond promptly to incidents, complaints, and breaches of tenancy/licence agreements

Essential Criteria:

• UK Driving License
• Experience working in similar role
