A growing manufacturing business is searching for a HR Advisor in the greater Maidstone area.
Your Role: While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
Providing advice to management for disciplinary processes, supporting on determining actions and actioning conflict resolution
Support on posting jobs, arranging interviews and then following up with the onboarding process and with workforce planning to ensure the business has the right level of support for its developing needs
Updating the HR policies and procedures as needed, making sure to keep alignment with legislation and regulations
Providing expertise in the appraisal process for employees, including with managing feedback and improvement plans
Supporting on Moderation activities
Identifying areas that can be improved for employee retention, supporting long term growth plans
Proactively organising employee inductions and supporting the process of onboarding graduates into the business
Assisting with the organisation of employee development activities and initiatives, including identifying apprenticeship programmes that would align with company
Implementing training activities and topics every month and maintaining the training platform so that it is accessible for end users
Updating HR systems and producing reporting, as well as KPIs to support decision making
Providing support on practices related to activities such as restructures and succession planning
Supporting the business strategy, by providing expertise on a wide breadth of HR matters and acting as the local point of contact for expertise for implementing new people practices
You MUST Have Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
CIPD qualification is preferred for this role
Excellent experience within a comparable advisor role or generalist capacity
Good understanding of HR and employment law and HR best practices
Very strong communication skills
Proficient in HR systems and software, as well as wider IT skills and data analysis

As such, the position holder will be a valuable addition to the team to support the business, managers and key stakeholders with the effective deployment of people strategies and ongoing practical assistance on policies and procedures.
The business is offering a starting salary, in the range of £32,000 depending on relevant experience and the opportunity to earn up to 10% in bonus. Alongside this, there will be additional benefits including an enhanced annual leave allowance and very good pension contribution, supplemented by other additional benefits, including health offerings.
