HR Advisor opportunity based near to Chawston with a leading construction equipment and industrial machinery business offering £32,000-£35,000, company car and excellent benefits.

Basic salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Monday to Friday working pattern (40-hour week).

About the Role:

As an HR Advisor, you will provide professional, proactive HR support to managers and employees, ensuring best practice across the employee lifecycle while helping to create a positive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and current UK employment legislation.
Assisting with investigations, meetings and HR documentation.
Supporting learning and development initiatives where required.
Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records.
Building strong working relationships with managers across multiple departments.
Contributing to continuous improvement projects within the HR function.

About You:

To be successful as an HR Advisor, you'll have previous experience in a generalist HR role and enjoy working closely with managers to provide practical, commercial HR support.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as an HR Advisor or within a similar HR generalist position.
Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
A CIPD Level 3 or CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confidence in managing a varied workload and building relationships across the business.
A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence.
