HR Advisor

HR Advisor - Greenwich - 7am-4pm

A well established commerical construction contractor is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team in Greenwich, London. You'll be the backbone of their HR operation - managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and training administration that keeps everything running smoothly. This is a full-time permanent role with a stable, growing business and real opportunities to progress for someone proactive and organised.

Key Responsibilities

Manage recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment screening (Right to Work, references, DBS checks).
Support employee relations, disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
Lead apprenticeship and training administration, including managing development programmes and work trials.
Maintain employee records in HR system, manage contractual changes and ensure HR compliance.
Support probation and performance review cycles, and coordinate employee engagement activities.The Ideal Candidate

Ideally 2-3 years' experience in an HR Generalist, HR Advisor or similar HR role.
Construction background or similar industry experience (advantageous).
Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Able to work well under pressure, prioritise multiple tasks, and handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong communicator, confident dealing with people at all levels.
Desirable: CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or working towards); experience supporting apprenticeship programmes.Benefits

Hours: 07:00-16:00, full-time, office-based

Salary: £35,000-£40,000
