Hr Advisor

Location: Porth, South Wales

Salary: £35,000–£38,000 + Excellent Benefits

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

St David Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established, successful and growing business in Porth, South Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking for a varied, hands-on role within a supportive and people-focused organisation offering excellent benefits, hybrid working and genuine work-life balance.

Working across multiple UK sites, you will provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees, covering the full employee lifecycle. This is a broad generalist HR position, with a balance of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and people development.

The Role

* Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.

* Support employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and flexible working requests.

* Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts, employee changes and leavers.

* Coordinate inductions, probation reviews and training activities.

* Maintain accurate HR records and produce monthly HR reports.

* Support employee benefits, occupational health referrals and apprenticeship programmes.

* Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement across the business.

About You

* Previous experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.

* Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

* Experience supporting employee relations and the wider employee lifecycle.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* Highly organised, approachable and able to manage competing priorities.

* Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or multi-site environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
