Job Title: HR Advisor – Employee Relations (6 Month Temp to Perm)

About the Company
Our client is an established international manufacturer of loading and unloading solutions for the logistics and warehousing sectors, with a UK base in Milton Keynes and a nationwide team of field service engineers.

The Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll lead on employee relations and consultation activity across the UK business. This is an initial 6 month temporary assignment with a view to going permanent.

Key Responsibilities

* Support and help manage consultation processes, including restructures and changes to terms and conditions

* Prepare consultation documentation and attend meetings as HR support and note-taker

* Manage an ER caseload covering disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance

* Advise and coach managers through ER processes in line with UK employment law

* Conduct or support investigations and attend hearings and appeals

* Act as first point of contact for general HR queries

About You

* Proven HR Advisor experience with a strong ER focus

* Hands-on experience of consultation processes

* Solid knowledge of UK employment law

* Confident, assertive communicator, credible with engineers and managers alike

* Strong written skills and a calm, organised approach

* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable
