Job Description - HR Advisor

We are delighted to be working on behalf of a recognised innovator in its field of manufacturing and engineering specialising in the design, development, testing and manufacture of integrated protective systems for military, lawenforcement and fire personnel. With sales offices, dealer licenses and customers in various countries and regions, they have a truly international presence.
Our client is looking for an HR Advisor on a part time basis (20 hours a week)

based in Wiltshire andreporting to the HR Director (flexible hours and hybrid working to support work/life balance).
A part-time HR Advisor role is required to work with the Managers on every day, transactional HR activities including recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development and employee relations issues i.e. employee lifecycle activities.
In addition, annual events such as annual pay review, employee survey, updating Policies following Legislative changes will be expected of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Managers resolve employee issues and resolve employee relation issues.
Facilitate ongoing recruitment with the support of the HR Administrator.
Alongside the HR Admin, ensure onboarding activities are arranged, completed and tracked accordingly.
Issue new hires relevant benefit information and support onboarding with new recruits.
Support with Learning & Development activities (booking training courses, ensuring feedback is gathered.)
Ensuring leavers are processed in a timely manner.
Train and develop the HR Administrator.
Support the Payroll process as and when required.
Required Skills:
Previous HR experience.
Knowledge of UK employment law.
Excellent communication skills.
Proactive attitude towards HR work.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
A willingness to learn

in particular with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
