Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for an HR Officer on a permanent part-time basis located in Belfast, 30 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary of £26,669 per year along with a flexi-time working pattern and staff benefit package.

Our client is one of Northern Ireland's biggest, and well-known charities, which supports some of the most vulnerable in society by offering a wide range of life-changing services.

Offering a wide range of services throughout Northern Ireland, our client also has a very ambitious plan through 2024/2025 to reach the numbers of people who are at risk of becoming homeless or people who are experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

Provide effective advice and support to management on all HR and employment queries, ensuring that the organisation's strategic priorities are achieved.

Requirements:

Hold CIPD membership or actively working towards this.
1-year minimum experience in HR policies covering procedures and policies encompassing end-to-end recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, absence management, and grievance and disciplinary cases.
Sound working knowledge of NI employment legislation.
Full driving licence and access to transport to meet the business needs of the role.
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written along with MS Office skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information/data, confidentiality, and conflict resolution skills, able to resolve problems practically and logically.
