Job Description - HR Advisor

The Role
The People & Talent team at Trilitech is responsible for fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture. The HR Advisor will report to the HR Manager and will be supported by the HR Assistant. This is a generalist role and perfect for someone who enjoys working across the employee lifecycle and with all levels of stakeholders.

Please note, this is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What you’ll do

  • Overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, training requests, employee movements, and performance management, with support from the HR Assistant

  • Managing contractors and fixed-term contracts (FTCs), ensuring proper IR35 assessments, onboarding, management, and offboarding

  • Addressing employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees

  • Providing HR advice and support to management and staff on various HR matters

  • Delivering timely and effective communication to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and updates

  • Staying updated on current HR trends, legislation, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation within the HR function

  • Supervising the monthly end-to-end payroll process

  • Driving a positive and inclusive work environment by creating and supporting employee engagement and well-being initiatives

What you’ll need

  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist/ Advisory role

  • CIPD Level 5 or above

  • Evidence of employment law knowledge & application including IR35

  • Proven experience handling employee relations cases independently and operational HR processes including payroll

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
