HR Advisor (ER focused)

Are you an experienced HR Advisor with a passion for Employee Relations?

We’re working with a leading organisation seeking an enthusiastic and capable HR Advisor to join their growing team.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume employee relations caseload while delivering expert HR advice across the full spectrum of HR activities, with a strong focus on ER.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a proactive role in disciplinary, grievance, sickness, suspension, and performance-related issues.
• Coach and advise managers on performance management, sickness absence, grievance processes, and attendance matters.
• Lead and support investigations as required, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently, consistently, and in line with current legislation.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Promote and apply HR best practices that are both compliant and commercially aligned.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Level 5 CIPD Qualification or equivalent
• Experience of working as an HR Advisor within a fast paced, high volume and dynamic environment
• Great communication skills, and the ability to coach and challenge managers on a variety of topics
• Self-confidence, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• An understanding of UK employment legislation and best practices
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyse data
