HR Advisor / Generalist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join a leading Manufacturing company based in Rochester Kent.

This a true generalist with multifaceted role with responsibilities and project work spanning across the whole spectrum of HR, L&D and EDI objectives.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in providing generalist HR advice and guidance in either FMCG / Retail or Manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications and Experience:
• CIPD qualified to at least level 3.
• Experience and competence of working in a generalist HR environment including employee relations.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people.

Skills Needed

• Strong prior experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience of managing formal ER casework
• Proven ability to hit the ground running and pick up mid-process activities, identify and implement improvements as agreed by the Company
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a large workload under pressure.
• ]Maintain a good working knowledge of employment law and keeping up to date with changes
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence with confidence at a senior level.
• High attention to detail, proactive, able to coach and develop others through advice.
• Excellent communications skills to work effectively with people at all levels
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance
