Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of the HR and administration function within a strong construction business?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of HR and administration processes. Working closely with senior management, you'll oversee recruitment, onboarding, HR systems and office administration, ensuring everything runs efficiently.

The Role

* Managing the day-to-day HR and administration function.

* Liaising with recruitment agencies to source candidates across the business.

* Preparing job descriptions and job adverts for new vacancies.

* Coordinating the recruitment process, including arranging interviews and providing candidate feedback.

* Preparing offer letters, contracts of employment and new starter documentation.

* Managing the onboarding process and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.

* Maintaining employee records

* Monitoring absence, holidays and other HR records.

* Supporting managers with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.

* Identifying and implementing improvements to HR and administrative processes.

The Person

* Previous experience in a HR Lead, HR Officer, Senior HR Administrator or HR Generalist role.

* Construction industry experience is essential.

* Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.

* Experience using both Cascade HR and Sage 50 HR.

* Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

* Organised with excellent communication and administrative skills.
