HR and Employee Engagement Manager

SF Recruitment are currently working exclusively with The Vegan Society, the world's oldest vegan organisation, We're looking for a an experienced HR and Employee Engagement Manager to lead our HR function, support staff wellbeing, and drive engagement across the organisation and help shape a workplace where compassion, ethics and people matter. This is a pivotal role to the business.

Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: up to £45,718
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) | Part-time considered (hybrid - maybe 2 days based on site)

What you'll do

* Deliver expert HR support and guidance across all areas of the charity
* Support leadership with HR strategy, planning and organisational development
* Oversee employee relations, compliance, and the full employee lifecycle
* Lead on training, development and EDI initiatives
* Develop strategies to enhance staff satisfaction, morale and productivity

What you'll bring

* Significant HR experience, including advising senior leaders
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice
* Experience managing organisational change and engagement programmes
* Skilled in recruitment, policy development and implementing EDI strategy
* CIPD qualified (desirable not essential)
