Job Description - HR and Operations Administrator

HR & Operations Administrator

North London
£35,000 - £38,000, depending on experience
Full-time, office-based

We have a new role available with a client of ours based in North London - HR and Operations Administrator - within their Operations team.

This full-time, office-based position is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic professional with previous HR experience. The successful candidate will support the smooth and efficient delivery of HR and operational functions within a dynamic and growing telecoms company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for employee HR queries (email, phone, in-person)
  • Create job specs and recruitment adverts; liaise with agencies
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and set up workstations for new starters
  • Manage HR admin (starters, leavers, contract changes) and update payroll
  • Maintain HR systems (e.g., Bright HR), including absence and holiday tracking
  • Coordinate inductions, performance reviews, and probation processes
  • Support disciplinary and other meetings with notetaking and admin.
  • Organise staff travel, events, and handle office logistics.
  • Liaise with landlords and manage access cards and common area needs
  • Produce reports and assist with ad hoc projects and tasks

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous HR and admin experience
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Confident, positive, and assertive attitude
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
