HR and UK Payroll Implementation Consultant

Success Recruit is currently working with a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy that is expanding its team with the addition of an experienced HR and UK Payroll Implementation Consultant.

This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate take the lead on delivering end-to-end HR and payroll implementations, ensuring clients receive a seamless experience from project initiation through to post-go-live support.

The successful HR and UK Payroll Implementation Consultant will be someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes with precision and care.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Have hands-on experience implementing HR and payroll systems (e.g. ADP, Moorepay, Sage )
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of UK payroll compliance and legislation
• Be confident managing parallel pay runs, reconciliations, and complex data migrations
• Possess excellent communication and project management skills

The successful HR and Payroll Implementation Consultant will be rewarded with:

Job Specifics:

• Leading full lifecycle HR and payroll system implementations
• Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, offering guidance and best practice support
• Managing project plans, risk logs, and regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Overseeing payroll setup, parallel runs, and compliance checks to ensure smooth transitions
• Delivering training and enablement sessions for HR and Payroll teams
• Supporting post-go-live stabilisation, troubleshooting, and optimisation initiatives

Location: Home-based, with flexibility for occasional on-site visits

Hours: Full-time (part-time/flexible arrangements considered)

Salary: Circa £40k+
