HR Assistant – Rochester
£24,000 – £26,000 per annum | Full-Time | Permanent
Reed Business Support are excited to be working with a well-established organisation in Rochester to recruit a proactive and organised HR Assistant to support their busy HR department.
The Role:
As a HR Assistant, you’ll play a key part in providing administrative and operational support across all areas of the employee lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team
• Maintain accurate employee records, both digital and physical
• Support recruitment activities, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and processing offers
• Assist with onboarding and induction processes for new starters
• Prepare HR-related documentation such as contracts, letters, and reports
• Support with employee queries and direct them to the appropriate team members when necessary
• Help organise training and development activities
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal HR policies
About You:
• Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a similar setting
• CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (desirable)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information
• Confident communicator with a proactive and helpful attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
