Job Title: Professional Development & HR Assistant
Location: Northampton
Salary: £23,493 – £24,123 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a well-organised and proactive Professional Development & HR Assistant to join a forward-thinking organisation in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for learning and development, and a keen eye for detail, to play a vital role in supporting both staff development and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise, promote, and evaluate professional development and management training programmes
Coordinate and administer staff induction and onboarding processes
Deliver a professional, confidential HR administrative service
Develop and maintain accurate administrative systems and records
Support and help facilitate successful organisation-wide events
Administer the annual Performance & Development Review (PDR) process

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths & English
Proven experience coordinating and evaluating training or CPD programmes
Ability to work with financial data and track budgets
Experience supporting internal committees or working groups
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
A team player with a collaborative approach
A clear commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
